Accessibility Statement
We strive to make our website accessible to as many people as possible — in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1, Level AA) and the requirements of the Austrian Web Accessibility Act (WZG).
1. Conformance status
This website is partially conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA. Individual content items are continuously reviewed and revised.
2. Measures taken
- Semantic HTML structure with clear heading hierarchies
- Sufficient colour contrast (min. 4.5:1 for body text)
- Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator
- Alt text for all meaningful images
- A “Skip to main content” link on every page
- Responsive layouts from 320 px width, text zoomable up to 200%
- Reduced animations when prefers-reduced-motion is set
3. Non-accessible content
Some decorative animations and the particle background image are purely visual and cannot be interpreted by screen readers — however, they carry no meaningful information. Embedded third-party content (e.g. Google Maps) may in parts not meet the WCAG criteria.
